Nutritional Consulting and Herbal Medicine

Dietary and herbal medicine is the most ancient form of health care known to humans. Considerable research demonstrates the use of foods and herbs for treating major and minor health conditions. The World Health Organization notes that of 119 plant-derived pharmaceuticals, 74% are used in modern medicine in ways that correlate directly with their traditional uses as plant medicines by native cultures. There is great diversity in the dietary and herbal traditions of the world. At The Mindfulness Center, we take these varieties into consideration to develop the best program for your personal well-being. Learn the joy of using, growing or preparing herbs and other plant based foods for your health, joy and personal gratification.

"Let food be your medicine, and medicine be your food." ~ Hippocrates
