Scholarships and Continuing Education Available!

The Mindfulness Center offers yoga and meditation teacher training programs, focusing on the therapeutic applications of these mind-body practices. Graduates are equipped to lead empowering and healing programs in group, one-on-one and clinical settings. 

Continuing Education credits are available through Yoga Alliance and the

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Become a certified Yoga Teacher in this 200 HR, Yoga Alliance Registered, Yoga Teacher Training with Dr. Deborah Norris and Jessie Norris Taylor of The Mindfulness Center. Explore the ancient foundations of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga as well as the modern evidences-basis for the use of yoga for developing social and emotional well-being, and its application in health care. This program is Co-Sponsored by the National Association of Social Workers. CE's are available to social workers, psychologists and other mental-health care providers.

The Meditation Teacher Training program is a 160-hour immersion program that informs the participant through both didactic and experiential practices. Discussion covers the role of mindfulness in schools, health care and other community building roles, drawing on both ancient wisdom and modern evidence-basis.  Experiential practice cultivates a deeper self-practice, and builds the foundation for teaching group and one-on-one sessions. This program is Co-Sponsored by the National Association of Social Workers. CE's are available to social workers, psychologists and other mental-health care providers.



Meditation Teacher Training: Online Beta Program

Learning materials provide an overview of the role of mindfulness in education, health care and other community building roles, drawing on both the modern scientific evidence-basis and ancient wisdom. Experiential practice cultivates a deeper self-practice, and builds the foundation for teaching group and one-on-one sessions.
