+ Stephanie Desmond
Stephanie is a licensed massage therapist with a heart full of over 25 years worth of learning, practicing and teaching bodywork and massage in the metro area. Her massage work is enhanced by her training as an exercise instructor, dancer, athlete, and meditation teacher which informs her philosophy of treatment, crafting each massage session through deep listening to her client’s voices of mind and body. Stephanie works with all ages from infant to elderly and all degrees of health and wellness. She has training in Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial work, strain-counterstrain, pre- and post-natal massage, infant massage, Reiki, reflexology, acupressure and a host of other modalities.
+ Ashira Lavine
RYT-200, Mindfulness Instructor. After 20 years studying human behavior and body language as a criminologist, Ashira has deepened her study into the human body as a registered yoga teacher, meditation teacher and licensed massage therapist (April 2018). Ashira teaches a relaxing and revitalizing style of yoga. This is accomplished through slow, gentle, mindful movement that is integrated with breath work and meditation to relax your body and mind while healing your entire system, reducing pain, improving sleep quality and cultivating happiness.
+ Cathy Mills
Cathy graduated from Potomac Massage Training Institute in August 2006 with training in Swedish and deep tissue massage. She stayed on as a teacher assistant and clinic instructor before joining the Teal Center at Virginia Hospital Center. While there Cathy trained in clinical massage, Oncology Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. She views massage as a way to come into relationship with ourselves, providing an opportunity for healing, where the therapist and client work together for the client's optimal wellbeing. Cathy also provides Reiki and Reconnective Healing.
+ Mike Basdavanos
Mike is a Medical Qigong Therpist, Dpl. in Asian Bodywork Therapy, NCCAOM, CAOBTA, and a licensed massage therapist. Mike received Taoist ordination (Tian Ming) from Master Wang Yen-nien and permission to teach Taijiquan and meditation from Master Wang. Mike is presently completing a doctorate degree in Medical Qigong with Ted Cibik, Ph.D., N.D., D.M.Q.; and he continues studies with John Cole, L.Ac.
+ Tania Golocovsky
Tania Golocovsky, M.S, LGPC, LMT, RY-200 is an LGPC, mental health psychotherapist, licensed massage therapist, yoga teacher with over 12 years practicing in the wellness community. Her integrative approach combines numerous holistic therapies including mental health counseling, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and wellness consultation. She uses a strength-centered, empowerment model, with an energetic and creative approach to stress and pain management, oncology care and women’s wellness. Tania is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Johns Hopkins University. She has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She has been a licensed massage therapist and bodyworker for over 10 years.

Extensively trained in many aspects of massage and bodywork, Terry has over 20 years of varied practice in sports massage, prenatal and post partum pregnancy massage, infant and juvenile massage, lymph drainage massage as well as geriatric bodywork and care giving. His book "The Handbook of High-level Wellness" is dedicated to the proposition that good health and well-being is largely a matter of deliberate choice and consistent habit- small investments on a daily basis. His goals in his practice are to soothe, heal, educate, motivate and empower his clients towards an improved quality of life in the here and now.
