The Mindfulness Center’s evidence-based yoga teacher training is a life-changing experience. An investment in this training is an investment in your life which will both deepen your personal practice and prepare you to share the teachings of yoga with others, SOMA, The Science of Mindful Awareness: Yoga Teacher Training delves into the roots of the practice, from evidence-based research to the cultural and historical origins of yoga. Bridging the science and practice of yoga, we cover all of the requisite elements of asana practice, yoga philosophy, and history, while exploring the science of yoga, using modern tools to translate this ancient practice of mind-body-spirit integration to modern times.

Offered in two convenient schedules: Year-Round Rolling Admission
(9 months) or Summer Intensive (3 months)!

Our convenient and unique Year-Round Rolling Admission allows you to start at any time and finish at your own pace, while our comprehensive Summer Intensive allows you to complete your training over the course of the summer.

+ What Makes our Training Unique?

Yoga research is revealing the clinical benefits, the mechanisms of action and the active ingredients of yoga. SOMA Yoga Teacher training teaches students to use this research in their personal practice and teachings. Our philosophy is that yoga is a scientific practice of self-study through mindful awareness. We teach the fundamentals of scientific methods, as students learn to use the evidence-basis of existing research to further understand yoga practices, and discover a modern-day way of communicating this practice to others.

I am very glad for choosing The Mindfulness Center for my Yoga Teacher Training program. I instantly fell in love with the program and the instructors. The program has rolling admission which is very convenient and each session is conveniently scheduled.
